The free version allows you to export/import only 100 contacts and 20 SMS and logs. The full version has no restrictions. In full version you can also choose a range or number of contacts to backup.

Warning - While editing excel file please make sure the file doesn't get corrupted. The headers in excel file and the type of data in columns must not be changed.
